Texas families may soon find some relief on their property tax bill thanks to new pro-family legislation.
On February 28, Texas State Representative Bryan Slaton introduced legislation that would provide property tax relief to Texas property owners based on family size.
Each child in a family would give families 10% relief on their property taxes all the way up to 100% for families with ten children.
These kinds of measures build toward the post-Roe future envisioned by the Joint Statement by using our collective resources to support the needs of children and families.
