An op-ed in Real Clear Policy by Liam deClive-Lowe and Paolo Mastrangelo of American Policy Ventures makes an excellent case for extending and expanding the Child Tax Credit.
American Policy Ventures exists to promote bi-partisanship and reduce polarization so we can pass policies that will truly help the American people.
Mastrangelo and deClive-Lowe argue that the Child Tax Credit is one of the most effective and popular pro-family policies in existence, and that to allow it to expire in 2025 — which it will without intervention — would be a tragedy for our country. But despite the popularity of the policy, it often gets mired in bureaucratic wrangling.
